Terms of Use

Effective October 2, 2026
These launch-stage terms are not a substitute for legal advice. Applicable law may provide rights that cannot be waived.

About GroundVerity

GroundVerity provides property-intelligence reports assembled from publicly available government and other public-record sources for real-estate research and screening.

Research use only

Reports are informational products, not legal, tax, investment, appraisal, title, brokerage, engineering, surveying, or other professional advice. Customers are responsible for independently verifying property information before making transaction decisions.

Public-record limitations

Public records can contain errors, omissions, stale information, delayed updates, or conflicting entries. GroundVerity may normalize, match, rank, or summarize records but does not guarantee that every field is complete, current, or error-free.

License

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, a purchased report is licensed to the purchaser for internal business and research use. It may not be resold, republished, redistributed, sublicensed, or offered as a competing database, lead list, or data product without written permission.

No guarantee of outcome

Opportunity scores, screening bands, rankings, or flags are research aids only and do not guarantee that a property is available, distressed, profitable, financeable, free of liens, suitable for development, or appropriate for any particular strategy.

Payment and delivery

Prices are shown before checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe. Digital reports are delivered electronically after successful payment, normally by email or private file-sharing link.

Refunds

Refund eligibility is described in the Refund Policy. Nothing here limits non-waivable rights under applicable law.

Changes

GroundVerity may revise report formats, coverage, fields, sources, prices, or future update schedules. Purchasing one report does not create a subscription or promise future updates unless expressly stated.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GroundVerity is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of a report or reliance on public-record information. Where liability cannot be excluded, GroundVerity's aggregate liability relating to a purchased report will not exceed the amount paid for that report, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
